Jonah Mac Backup

A personal backup utility that runs locally on the owner's Mac, using rclone and scheduled commands to copy selected files to the owner's Google Drive.

What it does

The utility lists and reads selected local files and Google Drive backup files. It creates and updates backup copies in configured Drive destinations, and can move or remove destination files as part of the owner's configured sync and version-retention commands.

It uses Google's full-drive OAuth permission. The configured backup commands select the sources and destinations to operate on; the permission itself permits broader Drive access.

Personal use

This is an owner-operated local utility. There is no public app signup, account service or hosted file-upload form.

Backup status

A backup is complete only after its transfer and verification checks succeed. These pages do not report the status of any backup run. Some backup types use additional encryption; the utility does not encrypt every backup.
